Happy Holidays! As the snow begins to transform Crested Butte into a winter wonderland, we are preparing for a very festive holiday season!
A White Wilderness featuring new, winter paintings by Stephen C. Datz will opened on December 17th and runs through January 8th. Please come to a free oil painting demonstration by Datz on December 26th from 1-3pm. Later in the evening of the 26th, from 5-8pm, please join us for the artist’s reception. Meet Stephen and help us celebrate his spectacular show! Hors d’oeurves and refreshments will be served. For a sneak peak of his poetic winter landscapes, please click here. On New Year’s Eve, the galleries of Crested Butte will host a special ArtWalk evening from 5-9pm. Please drop by the gallery to enjoy new paintings and a toast to the New Year! A number of our artists will be in attendance! Appetizers and sparkling drinks will be served.
