Crested Butte is the New Millennial Haven according to a recent Huffington Post article and video. Citing the friendly atmosphere, amazing food, a plethora of outdoor activities and a youthful energy, the author agrees that this place a prime spot to visit. My only argument would be that the little mountain town at the end of the road is a haven for anyone looking to escape the woes of city life… not just millennials. Rafting, mountain biking, fly fishing, hiking, eating, stand up paddle boarding, drinking, listening to music and simply relaxing are just a few of the activities that bring guests to this special town each year. Crested Butte offers a lifestyle unlike any city and unique from other ski resort towns. The charm, charisma and character of this town are genuine and welcoming. Our funky events and traditions add as much flavor to the town as the surrounding beauty. Mountain vistas, snow capped peaks, wildflowers, golden aspens, green meadows and rocky cliffs are all easy to access and change drastically according to season – so just one trip to Crested Butte won’t be enough. With all the buzz about one of Colorado’s best kept secret getting out, it’s no wonder Crested Butte is being regarded as the New Millennial Haven.
