As we enjoy the tail end of the offseason and get ready for an incredibly busy summer, the June calendar continues to feature loads of fun local activities. We expect a record number of June visitors this year with June’s hotel occupancy already up 24% over last year. CBMR has several large groups visiting bringing their lodging numbers up 86% over last year. We welcome the Colorado Family Support Council to town June 3-6. With approximately 400 attendees, this conference brings a lot of traffic to Crested Butte businesses. The 34th Tri-State Corviar Meet will be in town June 8-10. This car show, held on Elk Avenue, is expected to bring about 140 people and their custom cars to town. Crested Butte Bike Week which starts on Wednesday, June 20th and goes through June 24th kicks off on Wednesday with the Historic Mountain Bike Tour & Pinnacle Series. Friday is the Chainless Downhill Championships and Saturday-Sunday is the Bridges of The Butte, a 24-hour bike-a-thon style fundraiser supporting the Adaptive Sports Center. Tour de Forks is back with their Opening Celebration on June 22nd so be sure to check out their calendar of events which run through September 8th. Irwin Guides is hosting Single Track Sessions which are vehicle-supported overnight bike tours.You get to focus on riding some amazing trails while your hosts prepare camp and fabulous meals for you to enjoy. The Crested Butte Heritage Museum is hosting their 16th Annual Black and White Ball on June 30th, guaranteed to be a fun time for the entire family.
