The 29th annual Crested Butte Alley Loop Marathon is just around the corner. This year’s race is combined with the Fat Bike Race, Pub Ski, and Nordic Marathon. The Alley Loop is one of Crested Butte’s largest costume wearing events. Even if you’re not participating, you won’t want to miss the Alley Loop as is sure to be a great time for participants and spectators alike. The course winds its way through the snowy streets, alleyways and narrow bridges through the heart of downtown Crested Butte. Spectators line the streets and alleys to cheer on participants and catch a glimpse of the fun and outrageous costumes! Fun for all ages, the Alley Loop is also a premier American Birkebeiner Qualifying event.
