What’s Happening in the Real Estate Market
In December, 24 single family homes and condos were sold for a total of $16,111,500. Everything from a $65,000 Grand Lodge Unit to a $3mil Whetstone Mountain Ranch sold in December. A total of four homes sold for over $1mil. As more and more people are in town for ski season, the market is expected to pick up considerably. Currently, another 38 homes and condos are under contract, representing a listing amount of $16,988,400.
In land sales, a total of five parcels sold in December – three less than in November. Sales in December represent a wide range of land from a .68 acre parcel in CB South, which sold for $49,500 to a half acre parcel in Skyland, which sold for $475,000. Currently, another nine parcels are under contract with a total listing price of $2,267,900.
