Crested Butte has fallen in love with Fat Biking and hosts the Fat Bike World Championships each January. With several places to rent Fat Bike and plenty of regularly groomed trails, Fat Biking is a sport the whole family can enjoy throughout the entire winter & into spring. Did you know you can zipline in the winter?  Most of us think of ziplining as a summer activity but in Crested Butte you can zipline year round. Kids and adults alike will have fun at the Adventure Park. Located at the base area, you don’t have to go far to have an afternoon of fun. They have everything from a miniature golf course, bungee trampolines,  a climbing wall featuring a six-route tower and a lift-served tubing hill. Take the free Town Shuttle into downtown Crested Butte and take a stroll up historic Elk Avenue where you will find boutique shopping, restaurants and Art Galleries. Stop in Montanya’s Rum Distillery and taste their handcrafted rums. Don’t forget to stop by the Crested Butte Heritage Museum and take a trip into the past where you’ll learn about the history of this great little town.
