The ICELab – A Collaborative Workspace
Have you heard of the new ICELab located on the Western State Colorado University Campus? This new workspace, the Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (ICE)Lab, was created to provide new startups and expanding businesses  in the Gunnison Valley with the materials and support needed to succeed. Located in the Escalante Hall building, the ICELab and ICELab Cafe are now open for business.
Western’s goal for the ICELab is that it will help encourage the economic development in Western Slope communities. The ICELab offers in-house features such as fully modular workspaces, high speed internet, Colorado Small Business Development Center (CSBDC) consulting, specialty workshops and trainings; all key to integrating Western students with the outside world and vice versa. The ICELab workspace is available to business owners and entrepreneurs by day pass, monthly and annual memberships. This is great news for those living in the valley and working remotely or on a new start up. There is now a quiet, affordable, professional space available for one to work, providing high speed internet and other tools such as furnished desks or offices and conference room use.
Downstairs in ICELab Cafe, you will be able to order from their great menu selections as well as coffee and bar selections. Open Monday through Friday, you can work from the bar, sofa or one of the many tables throughout the cafe. For more information on the ICELab Cafe or the ICELab and it’s services, Click Here.
