Spring Break in Crested Butte ~

Head out on an unforgettable dog sled tour of the beautiful Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley wilderness with Cosmic Cruisers. Learn the basics of mushing and even learn how to run a team of huskies. For those looking for more horsepower, Action Adventures offers exciting snowmobiling and Zipline tours.
After a busy day of outdoor adventures, one is sure to work up an appetite. One thing there is not a shortage of is good food in Crested Butte. The Brown Lab, located at the base area, offers $1.00 pizza slices after 3:00pm making this a local favorite for after ski aprés. Catch live music, cold beer and great appetizer specials at Butte 66 which overlooks the base area, a perfect place to watch the Landshark Pond Skim. Hop on the Free Town Shuttle and head to town and historic Elk Avenue for dinner at one of the many wonderful restaurants. Be sure to call ahead or get there early as some do not accept reservations.
