Current Market Conditions for March 2020
This year continues with significant increases in volume and amount of transactions. Residential sales volume through February was $20,139,973; up $5,985,973 from the same time last year, a 30% increase. Amount of transactions are also up significantly with 34 compared to 19. Currently, another 32 properties are under contract totaling $34,091,400, 9 of which are listed at $1mil or more including 7 Moon Ridge Lane listed for $9,995,000 and under contract by our office.
In February, we had 5 single family home sales and 14 condo/townhome sales in the upper valley. Sales ranged from a Three Seasons condo selling for $235,000 to a ski in/ski out West Wall condo selling for $1,537,500. These 19 sales totaled $11,766,923 which far exceeded February of last year of only 11 transactions and $7,281,000 of volume.
Land transactions involved seven deals, six more than last month, totaling $1,503,000 in volume.
Overall inventory grew once again with 16 more listings than last month.

Crested Butte Collection ranked #1 for volume and #1 for amount of transactions in Gunnison County for 2019. Corey closed out the year with $43,193,600 in sales volume representing over 6% of the entire real estate market in the county. *
