What an amazing season we’ve had here in Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley. Despite the ongoing restrictions and below average snow year, the ski area continued to draw visitors and hotels were often at capacity. The Crested Butte real estate market continues to thrive, closing out the first quarter (Jan-March) with $89,473,950 in sales volume. That is $46.8mil over this time last year. Another $74.3mil is currently under contract as we head into the off-season. The average sales price is up 16% to $903,777 from $761,148 at this time last year and inventory pretty much remains stagnant with only five more over last month. Despite the low inventory, the real estate market has been booming with record sales. Crested Butte Collection is working with ready and willing Buyers looking for Crested Butte real estate. Residential sales volume January through March totaled $89,473,950 which is up $46,849,627 from this time last year. Number of transactions were also up (99 compared to 56). The average sales price continues to rise; we are currently averaging $903,777, which is up 16% from $761,148 last year. Currently there are 65 properties under contract totaling $74,999,300; 28 of which are listed at $1mil or more including this stunning property in Danni Ranch listed for $4,250,000.
