Summer is in full swing in the Gunnison Valley with live music such as the Alpenglow concerts in town and Music on the Mountain at the base area plus endless trails are now open for hiking and biking! One of our favorite events kicks off this week – the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival, plus the Cattlemen’s Days rodeos begin today which are always action-packed fun.

June was a strong month for residential sales throughout Gunnison County. We had 38 total sales, which is a 58% increase over 2024, and despite seeing the lowest average sale price YTD last month, home values still averaged 11% above last year at $831,560 county-wide.
