We love the anticipation in the air this time of year. Ski season is right around the corner as Crested Butte Mountain Resort is scheduled to open November 26th, which is only 3 weeks away! The early winter season is a fun time to be in town as the holiday season always brings energy and festive activities like the CB Makers Market and Mt. Crested Butte’s Light up the Night. Last month, residential sales volume was 12% higher than in 2024 and 29% higher for land sales, despite less transactions in both segments due to impressive jumps in property values. The county-wide average sold price for homes was $1.6M last month and $428K for land. The highest sale in October was 188 Bethel Road, a 7 bedroom, 9,147 SF home in the Smith Hill Ranches subdivision, which sold for a record-breaking $11,915,000.
