Come on down to Crested Butte this weekend for the Subaru Freeskiing World Tour. Always an excited time in Crested Butte when the hardest of hard skiers come and tear up our mountain. There is really nothing like it. The snow conditions are great and the extreme skiing is covered well but still the most challenging terrain in the lower 48.

World’s best freeskiers head to Crested Butte
Some of the best big-mountain skiers in the world will shred Crested Butte’s slopes this week when the Freeskiing World Tour makes its way to Colorado. It’s the fourth of six stops on the tour that judges skiers on their ability to ski uber-technical steep lines with mandatory airs.
“This event brings out the entire Crested Butte community and we can always count on the local skiers pushing the international field for a great show,” said Frankie Alisuag, Crested Butte local and announcer for the competition.
