Thanksgiving Dinner Out ~
Not into cooking a big meal this Thanksgiving? Thinking about having Thanksgiving Dinner Out? No problem! Whether you’re looking for a traditional sit-down feast for the family or a get together with friends and local “orphans” (those who do not have family in town), there are plenty of places open and serving dinner on Thanksgiving.
If you’re looking for a more traditional Thanksgiving feast, be sure to checkout Elk Avenue Prime in Crested Butte. They put on a wonderful Thanksgiving Buffet from 3:00-8:00 Thanksgiving day. Reservations are required and they do fill up fast so be sure to RSVP online or by calling (970) 349-1221. With amazing food and one of the largest wine lists in the valley, you won’t be disappointed.
If you’re more into a casual dinner with friends, you might check out the Friendsgiving Potluck at the Eldo. What better way to end the day after hitting the slops on opening day then enjoying a great meal, football and drinks with your friends. This is a potluck so bring a dish to share. For those looking for Thanksgiving dinner out in the south end of the Valley, the Ol’ Miner Steakhouse, a family owned restaurant in Gunnison does a free Thanksgiving meal from 2:00-5:00. Enjoy great food in a casual dining atmosphere the whole family will enjoy. Located right on Main Street, the Ol’ Miner Steakhouse is easy to find and has room for the whole family.
