The leaves are starting to change and the mornings are getting crisp here in Crested Butte. We are excited for the release of our 2019 Fall Video. It was a busy summer packed full of fun festivals and events. As we near the middle of September, things are starting to wind down.
Considered the best time of year in Crested Butte by many, the Fall season puts on an incredible show. Our aspen groves are some of the largest in the world. Cooler temps, less crowds and empty trails await you. If you have the time, we highly suggest taking a drive over Kebler Pass during the peak leaf season. Kebler Pass not only hosts the largest aspen grove in Colorado, it may just be the largest living organism on the planet! Other noteworthy places to take in the fall colors include Ohio Pass and Taylor Canyon. Pack your camera and spend a weekend taking in the beautiful fall colors!
