April 2024 Edition

As expected, March brought some warm, sunny weather to remind us spring is right around the corner. April 7th is closing day for Crested Butte Mountain Resort, but there are still several Colorado resorts open for spring skiing. Check out the list here and enjoy the slopes into May and potentially even June!

As we prepare for spring, that often means swapping gear and planning a trip to the desert, but it should also include preparing your home. We’ve put together a list of home maintenance tasks that help prep your mountain home for the warmer weather and maintain property values.

The Crested Butte Collection Market Update is your source for the latest real estate trends throughout Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley. Our April 2024 Market Update summarizes market statistics through Q1 and also dives into March sales. Gunnison County experienced a minimal increase in the number of residential transactions in Q1 compared to last year, but the total volume of transactions this year was 98% higher than the volume sold in Q1 of last year. This growth rate in volume is due to an 87% increase in average sale price of residential properties in Gunnison County ($1.4M vs $738K).
